Mormons are a religious and cultural group related to Mormonism, a Christian religious movement beginning with the visions of founder Joseph Smith in upstate New York during the 1820s. Most Mormons are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Mormons believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
