Was adolf hitler jewish?

Rate This Answer

Adolf Hitler Hitler's ancestry is a matter of dispute. His father, Alois Hitler, was the illegitimate child of Maria Schicklgruber. Alois's birth certificate did not name his father; it is speculated that Hitler's grandmother might have become pregnant while working in a Jewish household. Hitler's secrecy about his family and attempts to hide his ancestry might be related to an uncertain history of his family tree and high incidence of insanity in his family.
