Was Osama Bin Laden killed?
President Obama announced on 5/1/11 that an elite group of Navy Seals, under the command of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), worked with the CIA to storm Osama Bin Laden's hideout in Abbottbad, Pakistan. The group of 20-25 soldiers took no casualties while managing to kill Bin Laden and those with him. The U.S. confirmed Bin Laden's identity through a DNA comparison and later buried his body at sea, in accordance with Islamic traditions. ChaCha back!

About Osama Bin Laden
Osama bin Laden was the founder of international terrorist organization al-Qaeda. He was credited with the September 11th attacks and US embassy bombings in 1999. He was the on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List until his death on May 1, 2011 during a firefight with U.S. Special Forces soldiers outside of Abbottabad, a city in Pakistan. Obama's body was buried at sea soon after his death.
