Was president johnson approach to foreign affairs similar to or different to Kennedy?
For the most part Johnson's approach was similar. He had the same foreign policy advisers as JFK. An intriguing question, unanswerable but often asked, is whether Kennedy, had he lived, have made the same foreign affairs choices, especially in Vietnam as Johnson. Luck & skill were evident in Johnson's Latin American policies. But Vietnam would over shadow all else.Cha
