What age should catholics start fasting?
The requirements of fasting dictate that Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 must fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Also, Catholics age 14 or older must abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and all the Fridays of Lent.
