What are 2 ways that early Judaism differed from other religions?
Jewish Law found in the Torah received by the Israelites at Mt. Sinai provides boundaries and limits to practices of other cultures. Both leaders and the lowliest of society are held accountable for their actions. Both leaders and the lowliest of society will be granted the same protections under the law. Unheard of in cultures of the day! ChaCha! ChaCha On!

About judaism
Judaism is the oldest monotheistic religion, forming over 3,000 years ago in the area of modern Israel. Jews, as adherents are known, are an ethnoreligious group - that is, a Jew is both someone of Israeli descent AND someone who adheres to the tenets of Judaism. In 2010, the world population was estimated at 13.4 million Jews; 42% live in Israel, 42% live in the U.S. and Canada. The remaining 16% mostly live in Europe and Russia. There are three major branches of Judaism today: Orthodox Judaism, Conservative Judaism, and Reform Judaism.
