As of 2011, there are 19 versions of Pokemon games, starting with the Japanese release of Red and Green, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, SoulSilver, HeartGold, Black and White.
