About Pain
Pain is an unpleasant experience we've all felt. Its the feeling we get when a toe gets stubbed, when lemon juice squirts in your eyes, or you forget to wash your hands before you go to the bathroom after cutting-up spicy peppers. It's the body's natural reaction to protect a healing part of the body, and to remind us not to do the thing that hurt us anymore. So pay attention to your body, because contrary to what Patrick Swayze said in 'Roadhouse,' pain does hurt.
About Kidney Stones
Kidney stones are crystals that form in your kidneys. They occur when urine contains too much of a certain substance and are most often caused by dehydration. If you have kidney stones, it is most likely you will have them again. The different types of kidney stones are calcium, cystine, struvite and uric acid stones.
