About Salvia
Salvia Divinorum, or diviner's sage, is a plant in the same family as mint and sage. It grows naturally in the cloud forests of Oaxaca, Mexico. Salvia Divinorum has been traditionally used in shamanistic traditions to induce visions and alter consciousness during healing sessions. Mazatec legends believe the plant is an incarnation of the Virgin Mary. Botanists generally agree that salvia divinorum is low in toxicity and has a pretty low potential for addiction. It is still legal in most states, but we don't recommend you run out and try it.
