About Flex-Fuel
Flex-Fuel is a fuel that consists of both ethanol and gasoline. Flex fuel is also known as E85 due to the fact that it consists of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. The ethanol is produced from corn and is an alternate fuel source to 100% gasoline. A Flex Fuel car can typically run on either gasoline or E85. Flexiable fuel technology has been around since Ford’s Model-T but has recently become popular due to the dwindling gas supply and the thinking green movement.
