About The Stone Roses
The English alternative rock band, The Stone Roses, was formed in Manchester in 1983. Group members included vocalist Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Gary ''Mani'' Mounfield, and drummer Alan ''Reni'' Wren. The band released their first album, 'The Stone Roses,' in 1989, and their second album, 'Second Coming,' in 1994. They are due to reuinte for shows in 2012, and will announce their plans in a press conference on October 18, 2011.
