Some of the best parties of the year occur on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, LA during Mardi Gras! Mardi Gras, 'Fat Tuesday,' is the last day of the Carnival season. Falls on the day before Ash Wednesday, the 1st day of Lent. In 2011, it is on Tuesday, March 8 and for 2012 on Tuesday, February 21.
