A quince is a western Asian shrub or tree having white flowers and hard applelike fruit; also Spanish for the number 15. A persimmon is the edible fruit of a number of species of trees of the genus Diospyros in the ebony wood family. Kumquat - small oval citrus fruit with a thin sweet rind and very acid pulp.
