Actually, airplane food isn't a deal at all. Most airlines now charge for meals on airplanes, except for soft drinks.

Airlines say they are charging to help cut back on ticket costs. Some airlines over charge. Northwest charges 3.00 for Pringles.
It is where it is at that makes it seem to taste different, in an airplane you are breathing in somewhat dry air. ChaCha again!
