ChaCha was founded on September 1, 2006 by Scott A. Jones (known for his work in the early days of voice-mail) and Brad Bostic. The name "ChaCha" comes from the Mandarin word, "cha" meaning "to search." In addition, ChaCha receives about 600,000 queries each day. Keep on doing the ChaCha!
