It depends on the kind of the bullet. Shotgun pellets have a small amount of variance. ChaCha again!

For a shotgun, the slowest speed is at 335 m/s, while the fastest travel at close to 427 m/s. Thanks for using ChaCha!

It all depends on the gun. A.38 Special will travel 600 feet per second though. ChaCha!
