What is wimax?
WiMax is a telecommunications protocol that provides fully mobile Internet access. The current revision provides up to 40 Mbit/s with a proposed update increasing speeds to 1 Gbit/s. Sprint is currently sporting a WiMax network that it markets as 4G.
