What state has the most lakes?
The state with the most lakes is Alaska and not Minnesota despite the 10,000 Lakes slogan on its license plates. Alaska is home to more than three million lakes. ChaCha again soon!

About Alaska
Alaska is the largest state in the United States; it is bordered by Canada, the Arctic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and Russia across the Bering Strait. The climate in Alaska is an oceanic climate in the southern panhandle with a subarctic oceanic climate in the northern part of the state. The panhandle typically is the warmest and wettest part of Alaska. You will most likely find temperatures in the winter above freezing in this part of the state, which is unlikely in the rest.
