Several studies have found that vitamins C, vitamin E, and EGCG (a bioflavonoid present in green tea) may help to prevent sunburn when used either topically or orally. Many manufacturers already add vitamin E to sunscreens.

Vitamin E can also provide added protection by being a free radical scavenger. You can find it in foods like whole grains, such as wheat and oats, nuts and grains, sardines, and leaves. Also try applying aloe vera to the burn. Happy Healing! Cha Cha!
