The World Series is the biggest event in baseball in the World. It is the dream of every team owner, player, and fan to see their team compete for ultimate glory in the 'Fall Classic.' The World Series crowns the best team in professional baseball in the United States and Canada.
About New York Yankees
The New York Yankees are a professional baseball team based out of the Bronx neighborhood, in New York City, New York. They are in the division of the MLB known as the American League East. Other current American League East teams are the Baltimore Orioles, the Boston Red Sox, the Toronto Blue Jays (joined in 1977), and the Tampa Bay Rays (joined in 1998).

New York is found in the Northeast region of the United States. Bordered by Canada to the north and west, Pennsylvania and New Jersey to south and Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut to the east, New Jersey is the 3rd most populous state. New York has a fairly humid climate with mild summers and long, cold winters. The average temperature in the summer is in the upper 70’s where the average temperatures in the winter are in the low 30’s.
