Hawaii is located on an archipelago in the central Pacific Ocean, southwest of the continental US, southeast of Japan, and northeast of Australia. The state was admitted to the Union on August 21, 1959. Its capital is Honolulu on the island of Oahu.

Hawaii is an island state located in the central of the Pacific ocean southwest of the continental United States. The state consists of eight main islands which are: Niihau, Kauai, Molokai, Oahu, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Maui, and Hawaii. The climate in Hawaii is tropical with less humidity and temperatures due to the eastern trade winds. High temperatures year round average in the 80’s F with the higher end in the summertime.
