About Lincoln
Lincoln is the luxury brand of Ford Motor Company and was founded in 1917 by Henry M. Leland. He named the Lincoln car company after his lifelong hero Abraham Lincoln. In 1922 Ford purchased the Lincoln luxury brand to compete with Cadillac and immediately saw success. Lincoln is also one of the largest limousine suppliers and has been producing presidential cars since 1939.
