Rodney King, born 4/2/65 in Sacremento, CA, is best known for his case against the LAPD on 3/3/91 after he was brutally beaten by several police officers; a bystander filmed the events. Initially the police were acquitted, which resulted in riots lasting several days. Eventually Rodney received $3.8M after a civil rights jury found two cops guilty. ChaCha!
