English pop and R&B recording artist, Cheryl Cole, got her big break when she auditioned for the reality television show, 'Popstars: The Rivals," on ITV. She won a place in the girl group, Girls Aloud, and went on to release 20 consecutive top 10 singles and five platinum albums. Since then, Cole has judged the British version of 'The X Factor', and appeared on several magazine covers, including Elle and British Vogue. Cole was supposed to appear on the U.S. version of 'The X Factor,' but according to FOX, left just weeks into filming auditions.
