Who was Rascal Flatts song 'Why' written about?
Jay DeMarcus and Gary LeVox had an uncle who committed suicide in 2001 and Joe Don had a high school friend who did as well. The song was inspired by them. DeMarcus said We felt like it was something that we could sing about, dealing with a very difficult matter that a lot of lives are affected by.
