About Indianapolis Motor Speedway
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway was established in 1909 in Indiana as the world's largest spectator sporting facility. It annually hosts the Indy 500, Brickyard 40 and Red Bull Indianapolis GP. The track is a 2.5-mile oval and the facility has more than 250,000 permanent seats. The property encompasses 1,025 acres and even has a public golf course in it.
