People are racist, in my opinion, because they don't understand other races and have been brought up in a close minded home. ChaCha!

Many times racism is borne out of hatred, or ignorance, or even fear. It stems fro not knowing about other cultures and people.

About People
People are, well, people, as the cliche saying goes. We are all people. The people of the United States, the people of Utah, the people of Chesterfield, Indiana, the people of football, working people, who care about other people and the people who spend way too much time playing video games are all people. Technically, grammatically speaking, people is the plural of person. It can also mean an ethnic or national group.
