Why do ingrown hairs cause zits

Topics: HealthConditions & IllnessesAcne

Folliculitis is the condition of having many pimples (or pimple-like lesions) where hair is grows on your body, and results from the aggravation of the hair follicles (caused by either hair removal or overactive sebaceous glands). This can occur where you have an ingrown hair, but can also occur in regular hair follicles, such as those on your scalp.
