Biologically, we fall in love so that we can reproduce our species. Apart from that, we have a need to pair bond and make relationships to increase our abilities and our effectiveness.

First, people fall in love because their brains are programmed for it. Attraction is the second stage of love. It involves adrenaline, dopamine, and serotonin. The third stage of love is attachment.

People fall in love because they want to offer someone something good that they have. They want to be with someone not to depend on him or her but to share their life with them. They have something good to offer and they want something good in return

People fall in love because they are looking for a partner to live their life with. They want a soul mate!
