Why is my wart red

Topics: HealthConditions & IllnessesWarts

Danielle McGinnis

Redness on a wart is most commonly caused by an injury or an infection. You may have bumped the wart without realizing it. Most infections are harmless and go away on their own. If the redness persists after one week, you should have it examined by a doctor.
