The Achang are an ethnic group. They form one of the 56 ethnic groups officially recognized by the People's Republic of China. They also live in Burma.
The Achang language is a Tibeto-Burman language spoken by the Achang (AKA Maingtha) in China. Xiandao (100 speakers) is sometimes considered a distinct language, but it is easily intelligible.
