Amy Marie Madigan (born September 11, 1950) is an American actress who is known for her role as Annie Kinsella in the 1989 film Field of Dreams and Iris Crowe in the HBO television series Carnivale. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film Twice in a Lifetime. Madigan was nominated for an Oscar for the 1985 film Twice in a Lifetime. From 2003 to 2005, she starred in the HBO series Carniv__le as Iris Crowe, the sister of sinister preacher Brother Justin Crowe (Clancy Brown). Madigan also played keyboard, percussion, and vocals behind Steve Goodman on tour throughout the late 1970s. Later she briefly recorded with Danny Sheridan's Eli Radish Band replacing former Pure Prairie League vocalist Starr Smith.
