Though humorously outdated now, the VCR was a revolutionary device upon its introduction, allowing viewers the freedom to watch videos on their own schedule. The awesome glory of this machine was captured in its original advertisements, boasting its capability to change the world as we know it. All I know is that I am glad we aren't paying upwards of $700 for one of these anymore.
