About Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire released 'Funeral' in 2004 and the band almost instantly became a critically-acclaimed success. The title was conceived after several members of the band experienced deaths in the family while recording the album. 'Funeral' was named ''Album of the Year'' by MTV2, Pitchfork and Filter.

In 2008, Arcade Fire released 'Neon Bible.' The album was recorded at an old church in Quebec that the band purchased and transformed into a recording studio. It debuted at No. 1 on the Canadian Music Charts and No. 2 on Billboard.

Arcade Fire released its third album, 'The Suburbs,' in August of 2010. It debuted at No. 1 in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. The album is nominated for four awards at the 53 Grammy Awards: album of the year, best rock performance by a duo or group with vocals, and best alternative music album.

Arcade Fire is scheduled to headline the second night of the 2011 Coachella Music Fest in Indio, California.
