About Asteras Tripolis FC

PAE Asteras Tripolis is a Greek football club from the town of Tripoli, Greece. Asteras was founded in 1931, in the area near the railway station and formally recognized from the courts with the 312/1931 act. After some time, for unknown reasons, Asteras was inactive and during 1932 all the football clubs of the town temporary dissolved. During that period Minas Tsavdaris was in Tripoli, and founded a football team with black & white colors, influenced by the name of the area he was leaving.
