Aubrey O'Day is an American singer, dancer, actress, and fashion designer. She was born on February 11, 1984 and is most famous for being on the TV show 'Making the Band' and the resulting girl band, Danity Kane. O'Day has also acted on Broadway's 'Hairspray' and appeared in Playboy.

Singer, actress, and fashion designer Aubrey O'Day desired to become an entertainer from the age of four when she says she cried because she was in the audience of a play and not on the stage performing. From the age of five on, Aubrey performed as an actress in theater and sought her degree in political science and drama.

In 2004, Aubrey was discovered by MTV on the music talent reality show 'Making the Band 3.' Beating out 10,000 female competitors and receiving high praise from fans of the series for her natural charisma and talent, Aubrey O'Day became the season's biggest breakout star and was signed as the first member of Sean ''Diddy'' Combs' girl group Danity Kane.

However, in 2008, Aubrey was officially released from the group. On an episode of 'Making the Band,' Diddy revealed that fame had changed her and that she was not the peerless talent he once knew. She was released from her record contract the following year. In the April 2009 finale of 'Making the Band,' Aubrey said she had forgiven being released from Danity Kane and took responsibility for the girl group's demise.

In 2008, Aubrey kicked off her career as an actress landing the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Broadway musical 'Hairspray.'

In 2009, Aubrey O'Day posed as the cover model of Playboy. She has appeared on the covers of numerous magazines, modeled at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and landed spots on Maxim's Hot 100 list.
