About Bode Miller
Bode Miller is bronze medalist in Alpine Downhill skiing in the 2010 Winter Olympics . Now a young father, some think he’s the best U.S. skier ever. Bode won two silver medals at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games, but fell short at the 2006 Torino Games. He grew up in the late 70's and early 80's in a New Hampshire cabin without indoor plumbing or electricity.
He can put on quite a show! In 2006 he lost a ski and went nearly the entire downhill course on one leg. In 2008 he launched himself at 70mph into a protective fence, momentarily skied parallel to the ground, and recovered to finish to the race in second place. His bad boy attitude has won him both admirers and detractors. Will he behave himself in the 2010 Olympics?
