The band was formed in 1983 with its original members: Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Alec John Such and Tico Torres. Now they continue together with the exception of Alec John Such that left the band in 1994 and additional members: Hugh McDonald (1994), Bobby Bandiera (2003), Lorenza Ponce (2006) and Kurt Johnson (2006).
