Boost is a chocolate-flavored health food drink manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. It was launched in 1977 in India.
Boost is the brand name of a line of products first introduced in 1995 by Mead Johnson, which was purchased by Novartis along with all its other adult nutrition products by Mead Johnson in 2002, and has been sold to Nestle along with the Gerber brand on September 1, 2007. It was featured in popular news reports after a man filed suit claiming that Boost Plus had caused his priapism.
