About Cameron Diaz

Known for: actress and star of films such as 'The Mask', 'Gangs of New York', 'Charlie's Angels' and the 'Shrek' series.

Cameron started her career in modeling working for a few big name modeling agencies but found her love of acting when she was cast in her first movie, 'The Mask' alongside Jim Carrey. Cameron then went on to further success with her roles in 'My Best Friend's Wedding' and 'There's Something About Mary. She has appeared in 'Shrek', 'Vanilla Sky', 'Gangs of New York', and several other hit Hollywood films. Diaz has received Golden Globe nominations for her performances in 'There's Something About Mary', 'Being John Malkovich', 'Vanilla Sky', and 'Gangs of New York'.

Diaz has also been involved with the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), the first and largest nonprofit for veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, and has spoken as an advocate for military families.
