Colors of Cancer
The colors of cancer help create awareness of the many different types of cancers. Many associations have a specific color which is usually displayed with ribbons. For instance breast cancer is symbolized by the color pink. Cancer awareness is very important in saving lives and raising money for research to target specific cancers. Cancer ribbons are the most effective way for associations to show their color of cancer’. These symbols are exhibited every day on bracelets, pins, clothing and even magnetic ribbons for cars.

Here is a list of the most common cancers and their colors. This list can change as new cancers are brought into the spotlight and another association takes up its cause. Hopefully Cancer Awareness will one day wipe out cancer completely and all colors will symbolize cancer free.
