Cleveland, Ohio’s Driver Side Impact was formed in mid-2004 by Jack McGinty (guitar) and Teddy Feighan (bass). McGinty and Feighan were later joined by keyboardist/vocalist Austin Bishop, singer Branden Langhals, drummer Zach Evans and guitarist Mike Arnold. Continuously playing shows around the Cleveland area helped them develop a

Shortly thereafter, they caught the attention of legendary Chicago Independent record label, Victory Records. By late 2006, Driver Side Impact was signed to the label. Their first Victory release, The Very Air We Breathe, was produced by seasoned modern rock knob twirler Sal Villanueva (Taking Back Sunday, Thursday). The Very Air We Breathe included re-recordings of songs from We Will Disappear. Driver Side Impact’s next Victory release was entitled Lion. Lion showcased their trademark powerful melodies and catchy choruses, but also incorporated larger guitar solos and an orchestrated sound. Driver Side Impact has undergone significant membership changes, with Langhals, Ferri and Rapala recently being replaced by Andrew Riccatelli and Jimmy Dempsey. McGinty
