Cathy Moriarty (born November 29, 1960) is an American actress. Her first film credit was Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull in 1980, as Vikki LaMotta, the wife of Robert De Niro's lead character. Her performance earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 1981 she starred in the cult movie Neighbors, but then, due to a 1982 car accident that led to many back surgeries, she did not appear in another movie until 1987. In the 1990's she had many supporting roles in popular films, including Kindergarten Cop and Soapdish. She also appeared opposite Andrew Dice Clay in the short-lived CBS sitcom Bless This House (1995).
