Charlie Sheen is now pop culture’s favorite crackpot, but once upon a time, the actor was considered a talented newcomer. The son of established actor Martin Sheen, Charlie Sheen first garnered attention for his performance in 1984’s war flick ‘Red Dawn.’ He followed that up with a series of box office hits like ‘Platoon‘ and ‘Wall Street.’ However, Sheen’s bad boy nature soon revealed itself and became his main claim to fame. The party animal was involved in several scandals, including an accidental shooting of his fiancée, sexual escapades with innumerable porn stars and escorts, and various drug addictions. After some time in rehab, Sheen scored a starring role in the popular sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ in 2003. He seemed to have renounced his former lifestyle, but was later fired from the show in 2011 for his destructive behavior. Today, Sheen is mostly remembered for waging a media blitz in which he owned up to drinking tiger blood. Celebrities! They’re just like us!
