Chevy

Chevrolet (Chevy) is a brand produced by General Motors Company (GM). The brand was founded by Louis Chevrolet, a racecar driver who ousted GM founder William C. Durant in 1911. Chevy was acquired by GM in 1917. Chevy was created to compete against the Ford Model-T and is the strongest brand of GM's products to this day.

About Chevy

The Chevrolet brand is so strong that it is sometimes used synonymously with GM. Headquarted in Detroit, Michigan, Chevrolet offers a full range of vechicles, from the Chevy Aveo to medium duty commercial trucks. Chevy made the first fuel injected car in 1957 and boasts the longest-produced engine in the world, the Chevy Small Block V-8. It has been produced since 1955.
