Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth has been setting the bar impossibly high for all other men in the world since first arriving in the United States to pursue his acting career in 2007. Audiences got a first glimpse of him as the doomed father of Captain Kirk in J.J. Abram’s 2009 ‘Star Trek’ movie, but it was his role as the Norse god and comic book superhero Thor that burned his image into the minds of movie-goers everywhere. With his blond locks and muscle-bound physique, Hemsworth was the perfect candidate to bring Thor to life, and his charm won over comic book nerds and newcomers alike. The actor has been keeping busy, starring in 2012’s dark fantasy ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and 2013’s racing flick ‘Rush’ before reprising his role as Thor in the sequels to both ‘Thor’ and ‘The Avengers.’ Unfortunately for the ladies, Mr. Hemsworth is a married man and father of a daughter born in 2012.
