About Coach Purse

Coach was founded in 1941 under the name Gail Partnership Company. A family owned business, six leatherworkers created handbags and wallets from a small loft in Manhattan using skills that had been passed down in their family from generation to generation.

In the 1970’s the company was renamed Coach Products Inc. The company began selling their products outside department stores and opened their own specialty stores.
