About Credit Score

Most people know the credit scores as that 'evil grading system' which puts a damper on your plans to get a credit card, car, or even house. Given the current economic situation, lenders are becoming more and more stingy on who they're lending cash out to and are relying heavily on someone's credit score.

A credit score is a number that represents the overall creditworthiness of a person, basically a YES or NO if you're able to get credit through anyone.

The number is established by pulling data from the various credit bureaus and statistically analyzing that data and calculate a number based upon the results.

A credit score above 770 is excellent, and will most likely get you a credit card or loan. Anything below 620 however, is considered questionable and could result in rejection.
