About Criss Angel Mindfreak

Criss Angel Mindfreak was a show that aired on A&E Network. It debuted in 2005 and ended in 2010. It centered on stunts and street magic acts by magician Criss Angel. Criss Angel is the youngest of three brothers and he has been interested in magic ever since he saw his Aunt Stella perform a trick when he was six. He earned $15 for his first appearance as a magician, when he was 14. At age 19, he began working as a magician in children's shows and in nightclubs, earning $3,000 a week. In 2001, he mortgaged his mother's house in order to produce the TV show Mindfreak. A year later, he had achieved an income of $4 million and a great reputation as the creator of the 'permanent polish' trick. His show is being aired on several TV networks, such as ABC, TBS Japan, and more. A characteristic of his magical acts is their demand of public areas, such as streets, and the use of common elements. On July 20, 2005, Criss Angel Mindfreak premiered on A&E.
