CSI: NY

CSI: NY

'CSI: NY', a crime drama inspired by the drama series, 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', is about forensic investigators who use high-tech science to follow the evidence and solve crimes in the Big Apple.

About CSI: NY

'CSI: NY' is a popular spin-off of 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' (2000), the most popular crime drama series on American TV and the most popular drama series in many countries around the world. 'CSI: NY's sister spin-off series is 'CSI: Miami' (2002). The theme song for 'CSI: NY' is Baba O'Riley by British classic rock group The Who.

Set in New York City, New York, 'CSI: NY' closely follows an elite specialist group of forensic scientists and forensic detectives who study crime scenes, cadavers, weapons, and other crime scene details in order to deduce the cause of death and, ultimately, who is the killer. The crimes are usually dramatic and twisting. Through interrogating interviews, disturbing back stories of those related to the crime reveal the criminal's motives or a loved one's immense sense of loss. The back stories of the characters on the crime scene staff are also further developed through crimes which strike close to home for them.

'CSI: NY' Stars:
Gary Sinise as Detective Mac Taylor
Melina Kanakaredes as Detective Stella Bonasera
Carmine Giovinazzo as Detective Danny Messer
Hill Harper as Dr. Sheldon Hawkes
Eddie Cahill as Detective Don Flack
